Q. Do I own the telephone number?
A. You do not own the numbers but the supplied CONTACTNUMBERS are for your exclusive use. If you move office or home anywhere in the U.K., you can take these numbers with you. Q. Can I port my current number?
A. Yes! In 1999 one of the most significant changes to shake up the UK telecommunications industry arrived - number portability. This meant that for the first time, you were no longer bound to remain with your existing supplier for fear of losing your number. Number portability is when you "move" your number from one network operator to another. This can result in enormous savings for you and increased rebates too. CONTACTNUMBERS is now able to port numbers from any of the following carriers:
    BT
    Cable & Wireless
    Energis
    NTL

The porting process is easy: you simply complete our service order form requesting the particular number / service to be ported and we will complete the order. We will prepare the porting letter and ensure the port is implemented smoothly with no interruption in your service. You will, of course, keep your same number and receive your invoice or rebate directly from us.
